Insight is an Internet-based platform which gives students and parents/guardians secure access to the student’s personal data from our School Information Management System (SIMS). This system allows you to view your child’s timetable, attendance, behaviour/achievement points, school reports and homework live 24 hours a day on a user-friendly website and mobile application. It has a mobile application (for iOS & Android) and is compatible with all operating systems, including Windows and Apple. Access to Insight is strictly controlled and only adults with parental responsibility and students will be allowed access to this data.
Insight usernames and passwords will be issued to those parents and guardians with whom the child is resident and are registered as the priority one parent or guardian on our system. Where parents do not live together, each parent will receive a separate username and password as long as they are both registered as having parental responsibility on our systems. Usernames and passwords will be sent via email in the first instance, if no email address is recorded your username and password will be sent to you via text or letter. Please ensure that the school is kept up-to-date of any changes to your contact details. If there is a non-resident parent who is not on our records who you believe would like to have access to Insight, please contact us. If you do not have any access to the Internet and will be unable to use this system, please notify Mr M Lillie, Deputy Headteacher, in writing.

Students have their own separate Insight accounts. Student Insight password resets are dealt with by the School ICT Technicians, ICT Helpdesk, room 8 office.
