Kent Range 6 – £19,609 annum (pro rata to £16,922.84 per annum)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a candidate of exceptional ability to join our pastoral team in this over-subscribed and successful high school.

The successful applicant will coordinate the pastoral support for approximately 200 students within a vertical community.
The candidate should have experience working within a pastoral role within a secondary school environment, be familiar with working with external agencies and understand safeguarding procedures.

The Aletheia Anglican Academies Trust (AAAT), based in Gravesham, has School Direct Placements available to start in September 2017 in the following subjects (some are salaried and some are non-salaried) across its 6 schools (3 Secondary, 3 Primary):
- Design Technology (non-salaried)

Applicants must have a relevant or subject related degree as well as a C grade or above in GCSE Maths and English. For Primary applications a grade C or above is also required in GCSE Science. Some experience of working with children in a school or non-school environment is desirable but not essential (you will need to complete a minimum of 10 days school experience before starting the course).
You may be eligible for a Bursary up to £30,000 tax-free to train*.
PGCE top up courses are also available via our accredited provider.
