Goodbye Mrs Smith!

Wednesday 26th May 2021

Dear Parents and Carers,

At the end of this term we will be saying goodbye to Mrs Smith who will be leaving to take up a new challenge as a Headteacher in Medway.

Mrs Smith has been at Saint George’s for 10 years and during this time has had a huge impact on the school. Many of your children will have been supported by the work of Mrs Smith and the Pastoral Team and we know that the students will be sad to see her leave. We pride ourselves on the inclusivity of our school community and Mrs Smith has been instrumental in helping drive this forward.

We are pleased to say that from term 6, Mrs Hartley will be over seeing the Pastoral Team and their important work. We also have Mr Baker joining us, as Deputy Head, with responsibility for Teaching and Learning.

Mrs Smith has brought so much to Saint George’s and we will miss her. I am sure you would like to join us in wishing Mrs Smith every success in her new venture.
