Student uniform update
Tuesday 8th September 2020
All students need to come to school in St. George’s PE kit, on the days they have PE, this includes; SGS jumpers, SGS red t-shirt for Core PE and a SGS black polo for BTEC Sport in years 10, 11 & 6th form. To purchase kit please see the link: https://www.saintgeorgescofe.kent.sch.uk/parents-info/uniform/
Students can wear their own black joggers, shorts, skort and trainers, or purchase them from the Saint George’s online shop. They cannot wear branded sports kit such as football/rugby shirts, Nike tracksuits etc. If they do not have the correct kit they need to wear a plain black, red or white t-shirt and plain black bottoms/shorts with a note from home to explain why, or a message from their community/year group leader to explain why. Failure to meet dept. expectations will result in normal dept sanctions.
They can wear a jacket to school over their PE kit if they wish, but NO hoodies will be allowed in school.
In regards to getting changed there will be no changing facilities open to them around the school to get changed for the foreseeable future.
Students will go straight to the field when their PE lesson starts, NOT the room designated on their timetable. The only time the student will go to the room on their timetable is when it is raining and their form tutor will let them know in the morning that this is the plan for their PE lessons.
If there are any issues relating to school PE kit, or PE please contact Mr Bright at the school: firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank-you in advance for all your continued support at this time.Back to news
