Admissions Process

The application process for admission into Reception/Year R in September 2021 opens on 5th November 2020, with the closing date for applications being Friday 15th January 2021. Applications must be made online at: Kent Primary School Admissions and any late applications must be received by Wednesday 5th May 2021. National Offer Day is Friday 16th April 2021.


In addition to the online application, you will also need to complete a Saint George’s Church of England Supplementary Form, which includes details of our admission arrangements and oversubscription criteria. This form can be downloaded below and must be completed and returned to the Primary Phase Office (to Saint George’s Church or England Primary Phase, Wescott Avenue, Gravesend, Kent DA11 7HP or by email to by Friday 15th January 2021. 


Please read the form carefully and complete all relevant sections, remembering to state the criteria you are applying under, to sign and date the form and to tick the box to indicate that you are aware that the common application form must also be completed on-line by 15 January 2021.  Please note that we cannot accept forms that have missing or incomplete information.

Appeal Timetable

If your child is due to start primary school in September 2021 you can appeal between 16th April -17 May 2021 to guarantee that your appeal will be heard by 16 July 2021.   For applications made in the normal admission round, appeals must be heard within 40 school days of the deadline for lodging appeals.  For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 schools days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 schools days of the appeals being lodged.

In Year Admissions

To apply for a place outside of the Primary Intake, you will need to complete an In Year Admission Form. This form will need to be returned directly to the Primary Phase Office together with a Saint George’s Church of England Supplementary Form which is available for download below.

Open Days
