If your child is due to start secondary school in September 2021 you can appeal between 1st March – 28 March 2021 to guarantee that your appeal will be heard by 14 June 2021.
For applications made in the normal admission round, appeals must be heard within 40 school days of the deadline for lodging appeals. For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 schools days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 schools days of the appeals being lodged

In Year Admissions
In-year admissions, sometimes called casual admissions, are those applications made after the normal entry procedure for transfer from primary school through to the end of secondary education. Applications should be made to the Admissions Officer at the school address using the In-Year Casual Application Form found at the end of this section.
We do not recommend students transfer from other secondary schools after the beginning of Year 9 when GCSE courses commence. Further information about In-Year Admissions can be found in the document below.
