York
Welcome to York Community!
We are named after the city of York and its cathedral.
Ms Gardiner is the York Community Leader who leads a team of excellent tutors.
Our chosen York charity for this academic year is The Parents’ Consortium (http://parentsconsortium.org.uk) and we raise money for this charity whenever we can. We have a number of successful charity events such as cake sales to chocolate raffles.
We have a Community competition each week in our form groups in which the form with the best attendance wins a prize and each week one pupil will win the coveted Pupil Of The Week prize.
The Yellow Community are a close knit group. We work closely to embed the school rules and five Christian Values. We all respect that everyone in our Community is ‘All Different, All Equal’ and strive to always do our best.
Mrs D Gardiner
York Community Leader
Every student in York Community is highly valued. We have an excellent team of Form Tutors which help to create a York family feel. Every day we work hard to achieve the five school expectations as well as celebrate our five Christian values:
- Compassion
- Hope
- Respect for Creation
- Service
- Thankfulness
