Head Student Leadership Team
Following a very competitive recruitment process to appoint our Head Students, we are pleased to introduce our Head Student leadership team for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Meet the Head Students

Mia • Head Student, Secondary Phase
Joining Saint George's in Year 12 was a decision that positively shaped my sixth form experience. From the moment I arrived, the supportive environment helped me settle in quickly.
I'm currently studying A levels in English Language, Business Studies, and Sociology. As Head Student, I hope to introduce new ideas that will benefit the school and work closely with both students and staff to make a positive impact. I aim to be a reliable, approachable and trustworthy leader for students of all ages, ensuring everyone feels valued and supported within our community.

Robert • Head Student, Secondary Phase
I joined Saint George’s School in Year 8 during the COVID period, which made my early experience of the school quite different to a typical start. Despite the challenges of that time, I gradually settled in and progressed through secondary school into sixth form, becoming more involved in the wider life of the school each year. I am currently studying A-levels in Business Studies, Film studies, Media studies and Core maths which have helped me develop on my academic interests.
Being Head Student has allowed me to give back to a school that has played a major role in my development. I am proud to support students across all year groups, work closely with staff, and contribute to initiatives that aim to improve the school experience for everyone. It is an honour to represent Saint George’s and to be part of its continued growth

Elsie • Head Student, Primary Phase
Hello, my name is Elsie and I am one of the Head Students. As one of the Head students I want to help make everyone happy at school and I hope that everyone knows they are loved and cared for. If someone ever feels sad or feels like they can’t talk to someone I am here for you. Our values are Care, Respect and Share and I want you to know that this means we are always here to support one another so we should not be worried.

David • Head Student, Primary Phase
Hello, my name is David and I am proud to be one of the Head Students at Saint George’s. I want to help everyone understand our school values in action and I try to use them when I am talking with anyone, even outside of school, because they are important. I want everyone to spread the values as we care, respect and share, spreading that kindness to everyone in our words and actions.
Meet the Deputy Head Students
Rhea • Deputy Head Student, Secondary Phase
I am very proud to be part of the Student Leadership team at Saint Georges. Since joining in year 7, I have always felt supported and uplifted by the community here which is why I chose to stay here for sixth form and study A-levels in English Literature, Film Studies and Art.
Within my role as a deputy head student I would like to ensure that the students feel comfortable coming to us with any worries or concerns they may have and be able to reassure them we will do our best to make sure our school is a safe, welcoming environment where all students can learn and flourish.
Iris • Deputy Head Student, Secondary Phase
My name is Iris Miller-Hanna and I am proud to be one of the deputy head students at Saint George’s school. I have spent the best part of two years studying English Language, Psychology and Sociology. All of which I am thoroughly enjoying! Having the pleasure of taking up the role of deputy head student has taught me an abundance of skills and brought me thorough enjoyment, but not only that, it has made me proud to be part of such a tight knit and values-driven school community.
Being surrounded by such a supportive atmosphere has helps us grow, not only as a leadership team, but as individuals. Opportunities to push us out of our comfort zones, like presenting speeches and presentations have helped develop my confidence and will set me up with an incredible skill set in later life.
Eloise • Deputy Head Student, Primary Phase
My name is Eloise and I am Deputy Head student for Primary. I enjoy this role because it allows me to help the school and the pupils within it to feel safe and enjoy school. I really enjoy representing the school and being a role model for others.
